Coming from the M1 south - Leave the motorway at J39 and follow the A636 to Denby Dale stay on this road until you reach Denby Dale where you will join the A 635 to New Mill. In New Mill you will arrive at a junction with the A616 (The Duke Of Leeds pub is opposite you) turn left here and follow the road for a mile, you will see a B&B sign for the pub, and a sign for Jackson Bridge and the turn is on your right. Follow the road down Bank St and the pub is on your right at the crossroads.

Coming from the M1 North - Leave the motorway at J37 and take the first exit to Dodworth A628 follow this road to the roundabout at Hoyland Swaine. Turn right at the roundabout onto the A629 to Huddersfield. After the village of Birds Edge you will come to the Sovereign Pub on your left. Turn left here onto the A635 for New Mill. Then follow directions above from New Mill to pub.

Coming from the M62 - Leave the motorway at J24 and follow signs into Huddersfield Town Centre ( 629 Halifax Road) You will join the ring road and you want to follow the signs for the A616 Holmfirth, Sheffield. Stay on the A616 until the road forks at Honley where you need to take the New Mill Road. This will bring you into the village of New Mill where you will encounter a stepped junction with the White Hart pub on your left. You need to turn right and then immediately left (with The Duke of Leeds pub now in front of you).Follow directions above to Jackson Bridge from here.
